notice how dark the sky was? this is how unpredictable the weather was when we started our Pagudpud tour. we were inside the Bantay-About mountain just to get away from the strong winds. this mountain has a big hole in its center.

Pagudpud

we've now reached Pagudpud. we're supposed to have a tour around the area on that same day but because of the bad weather, we decided to take a rest instead. we slept at around 5:00 pm, woke up at 10 pm, discussed the itineraries and went to bed again.

the next day, we woke up at 5:30 am but it was freaking cold so we had some coffee and noodles first before heading to the beach. the sand is not white in color but very fine. my sister and mae collected some shells, rocks and sand while I was busy taking pictures. there were even 2 rainbows appeared. you can also view the windmills at the left side (i just can't add the pictures). cool eh?

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse and Bangui Windmills

anyway, after Laoag, we went to Cape Bojeador Lighthouse located in Burgos. we were not aware that checking out the lighthouse will require us to climb up a hill since we do not have a rented van/tricycle. it was very windy and it started to rain so we prepared our bandanas cause using my favorite umbrella will not do. mae is such a scaredy cat, always thinking of what will happen to us because of the strong winds. after 30 minutes, we reached the top and I saw this little girl with her pomeranian dog. they're such a cutie!

after the lighthouse tour, off we go to Bangui to see the most-talked about windmills. however, the windmills are located a few meters near the sea which makes the weather even more ugly. I was only able to take 2 close up pictures of it. the other windmills pictures you'll see below were taken from afar.
